Collectors prize floats under 0.001 for Factory New skins. Yes (our inspector works with all CS2 skins including StatTrak), Souvenir, and special items like https://bnayatgames.com/fast-b-after-the-patch-when-it-actually-works-in-ranked-2/ knives and gloves. This is crucial because sticker combinations can significantly increase value (especially with rare Katowice 2014), Titan Holos, or iBUYPOWER stickers.

It launches CS2 and opens the built-in inspect view with the exact finish, float and pattern encoded in the link. We fetch data directly from Steam’s Game Coordinator servers, so float values are 100% accurate to the game’s data. The skins exist only on the server and never enter your inventory. Servers belong to the epidemic.gg community and can change; this list is verified against epidemic.gg/inspect. The largest active inspect network is epidemic.gg (the community known from the ohnePixel Discord). For certain skins, extremely high floats (0.999+) called “max battle-scarred” are also collectible.

Paint seed (pattern index) is a number from 0 to 1000 that determines exactly how the skin’s texture is positioned on the weapon. A 0.001 float is pristine while a 0.069 float shows visible wear, but both are labeled “FN”. It sits under the 3D viewer and follows the float & seed sliders live. I with an inspect link in chat.

• Positioned beneath the 3D viewer, it actively tracks the float and seed sliders in real-time.
• The actual minimum and maximum float varies per skin — not every skin can reach 0.00 or 1.00.
• Look for an “Inspect” button or right-click “Inspect in Game” on Steam Market listings.

What is a CS2 inspect server?

In-game inspect only shows you a visual preview. On sites like BUFF163 (CS.MONEY), or BitSkins, look for an inspect icon or button next to listings. Float value (wear value) is a number between 0 and 1 that determines how worn a skin looks. The 3D viewer loads automatically so you can rotate and inspect the skin from every angle. On third-party sites, look for an inspect button.

Pick a skin from the browser, or paste an inspect link above to see the exact item in 3D. Open the developer console (the ~ key, enabled in game settings) and paste a connect command from the table above, for example connect dust2.epidemic.gg. Every skin page in our catalog carries an “Inspect in Game” button per wear level, and pattern pages carry them per seed , the canon Blue Gems, for example,.

Sign in with Steam and we’ll hand the exact item to your in-game character on a connected server, stickers, charm and name tag included. Our tool reveals the exact float value (paint seed), sticker wear percentages, and other hidden data that determines the skin’s true value. Build the skin above, float, seed, stickers, charm, gloves — then hit Copy on the gen code in the viewer. Inspect servers and inspect links require no Steam login on third-party sites, ask for no password and get no access to your inventory. For most skins paint seed has minimal impact, but for pattern-based skins it can mean the difference between common and collector’s item.

Where can the ohnePixel inspection servers be found?

I provide a link for inspection in the chat to allow you to obtain the skin physically. To execute a command in CS2 (open the console (~)), paste it, and hit Enter. The minimum and maximum float values differ for each skin; not all skins can attain 0.00 or 1.00. Search for an “Inspect” option or choose “Inspect in Game” by right-clicking on Steam Market listings. Plus you get a 3D preview without needing CS2 installed.
