An existing primary school of low-grade design quality and amenity was considered within the structure of a new Master Plan prepared by the practice for an integrated Kindergarten to Year 12 private school.

The original classroom buildings were re-located Armed Force barrack structures that were deficient in terms of siting and amenity appropriate to intended use.

In collaboration with the School Council, TCA developed a strategy for incremental replacement of the existing structures with new double classroom home-bases, carefully integrated with comprehensive new low maintenance landscaping into the bare hillside that had formed the schools grounds.

A series of loose pathways was developed to give structure to the primary school community, connecting into the overall framework of the entire Master Plan and its central facilities.
